Fine Dining in the Desert: Oceana Restaurant PD

When someone hears the name Oceana Restaurant, they expect to be offered a wide variety of delicious seafood. At Oceana Restaurant Palm Desert, diners are guaranteed that plus so much more. Oceana Restaurant boasts a casual yet chic dining room and a lovely outdoor patio where diners can relax while they enjoy a superb lunch or dinner.

Established in 2021, this family-owned restaurant tempts diners with an amazing number of seafood choices. There are seven shrimp dishes alone. Try Oceana’s Drunken shrimp which is shrimp sautéed on a sweet and spicy sauce, topped with pineapple and sheared coconut. Or perhaps Caribbean Alambres consisting of shrimp, octopus and salmon sautéed with peppers, onions and pineapple lumps mixed with cilantro jalapeño sauce. Both are served with white rice and vegetables.

Other seafood choices include Guachinango, a red snapper dish deep fried with adoba, topped with sliced lemon and served with house vegetables and potato cambrai. Another highlight is the 7 Oceana’s with octopus, white fish, oysters, mussels, shrimp, salmon and scallops all simmered in a mild garlic broth and served with telera bread sticks.

These are just two of their outstanding seafood selections. While they specialize in seafood cooked to perfection, Oceana Restaurant’s menu includes beef steak, pork shank and chicken entrees, or combine the best of both worlds with their popular Surf & Turf. They also have traditional appetizers such as 6 fresh ovsters on the half shell and more unique ones such as Carsin’s salmon ceviche, plus soups, salads and a wide range of wine, beer and other beverages.

Patrons’ reviews confirm their delight: “Great meal with exceptional technique in the kitchen and great flavor.” “Not just a meal, a dining experience.” “Wow…wow… the food is excellent, the service awesome. This place is a diamond in the desert.” Additionally, reviews often praise the wait staff, who are knowledgeable and experienced to add to your dining pleasure.
