As another summer in the desert will soon begin to wind down, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to all of the residents who have spent the season here at home. While many escape the desert heat, so many of you continue to make this community vibrant year-round. Your presence keeps the community spirit thriving.

This month’s cover story celebrates two remarkable residents, Earl and Sandra, whose retirement years have become a testament to the idea that life’s most meaningful chapters can still lie ahead. Embracing their creativity and passion for giving back, they have found joy through music and community theatre while also establishing an organization dedicated to creating opportunities and inspiring hope for those in need.
