Chef George’s: Open Until July 26

Chef George, a Taste of Hungary

While many Valley businesses slow down during the scorching summer months, with daytime highs often topping 100 degrees, Chef George continues to be a hidden gem for those seeking flavorful cuisine and a memorable dining experience.

Now open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, Chef George will remain open through July 26, before taking a summer pause and returning mid to late September with a fresh season of live entertainment and signature hospitality. Kick off your July visit with Happy Hour from 4:30–5:30 PM, featuring $5 well drinks and house wines.

Guests can enjoy two unique atmospheres under one roof. The restaurant side offers a quiet, conversation-friendly ambiance ideal for a romantic dinner or special occasion. If you’re craving a more vibrant scene, just step through the door into the lounge, where live music and dancing bring energy to the night.

The menu is a heartfelt tribute to Chef George’s Hungarian roots, blending old-world recipes with modern culinary artistry.

  • Seafood Linguine: A standout favorite, this dish features tender linguine tossed with plump shrimp, succulent scallops, mushrooms, green onions, and fresh tomatoes, all enveloped in a rich, creamy white wine sauce. It’s both indulgent and comforting.
  • Cannelloni Bolognese: A satisfying classic, featuring pasta tubes stuffed with a flavorful blend of seasoned ground meat, Swiss and Parmesan cheeses, and topped with house-made Bolognese sauce. Served with a side of perfectly al dente spaghetti, this dish is robust and deeply satisfying.
  • Hungarian Goulash: Chef George’s signature stew, slow- simmered to perfection. Each bite of the melt-in-your-mouth beef is served alongside creamy potatoes, braised red cabbage, and tender steamed broccoli.
  • Apple Strudel: A nostalgic favorite from Chef George’s childhood. This handmade Hungarian dessert is layered with thin pastry and spiced apples, baked until golden, and finished with a scoop of smooth vanilla ice cream.

Located near the Sun City communities at 40100 Washington St, Suite #125 in Bermuda Dunes (corner of Washington and Country Club), Chef George offers both a cozy and vibrant experience, all in one place.
