A Toast to Tradition and New Beginnings at Chef George’s & Picasso Lounge
There’s something truly special about a restaurant that feels like home—a place where the food, the music, and the memories linger long after the night ends. Since 2003, Chef George’s & Picasso Lounge has been exactly that for locals and visitors alike, thanks to the passion and talent of the late Chef George, whose love for his craft filled every corner of the restaurant.
After Chef George’s passing, his beloved wife Lana lovingly carried on his legacy, ensuring the restaurant remained a vibrant part of the Valley’s dining and entertainment scene. Now, that legacy continues under new ownership, as Lana passes the torch to Richie, who has infused the restaurant with exciting energy while preserving everything guests have always adored.
This season marks the grand re-opening of Chef George’s & Picasso Lounge, and what a celebration it was! The newly refreshed space boasts a bigger bar, an expanded menu, and an all-new cocktail hour complete with creative appetizers and signature drinks. The evening’s reopening gala was a night to remember, with performances by some of the Valley’s most beloved entertainers: Michael D’Angelo, Kristi King, Marc Antonelli, and so many other legends of the desert, each paying homage to the restaurant’s enduring spirit.
Richie and his team have spared no expense in blending comfort, class, and a renewed vibrancy that makes the space perfect for both dining and dancing. Yet through every update, the heart of Chef George’s remains intact: the warm hospitality, the lively music, and the unmistakable charm that continues to make it a cherished gem of the desert.
Chef George’s & Picasso Lounge is more than a restaurant, it’s a tribute to its founder’s dream, a celebration of life, and a toast to many more unforgettable nights ahead.
