Support The Local Arts

Desert Theatre Works (DTW) stands as a cornerstone of the local Valley community, dedicated to enriching lives through the transformative power of the performing arts. As a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit community theater, DTW provides diverse and engaging cultural experiences for residents and visitors alike. We believe in the power of live performance to inspire, educate, and unite our community, creating lasting impacts on individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Why Support DTW?

The magic of live theater goes beyond amazing performances. Behind the scenes, there are numerous elements—from sets and costumes to props and wigs. Ticket sales alone cannot cover the expense of our shows; the support of our generous donors makes it possible.

Donations to DTW also help fund our KidsWorks Summer Musical Theatre Camp. Here, youth learn performance and technical theatre skills that build self-confidence, foster a love of the arts, and encourage cultural involvement. And they have lots of fun, too!

Volunteer With Desert Theatre Works!

You don’t have to be on the stage to be a star! Volunteers are a much-loved part of the DTW Family, and we couldn’t do what we do without them. Whether you are skilled in any of the roles below or have other special talents, we’d love to have you join the DTW community!

Consider volunteering in various roles:

  • Sewing/Costuming
  • Set Construction/Deconstruction
  • Painting
  • Sound/Light Tech
  • Stagehand
  • House Usher
  • Snack Bar Host
  • Ticket Scanning
