RMCC: Move Small Businesses Forward

The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce is kicking off an exciting new initiative designed to boost local business and empower small enterprises with its Move Small Business Forward Membership Campaign. Running from September 1 through December 31, 2024, this focused membership drive aims to expand the chamber’s network and strengthen its role as the voice of the business community. For local businesses, joining the chamber isn’t just about signing up—it’s about becoming part of a larger movement to promote economic growth and ensure a thriving environment for all.

“A larger chamber means a stronger, more informed voice, enhanced services, and better networking for our members,” says Katie Stice, CEO & President of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. “Our chamber is the driving force behind promoting the local economy. From hosting resourceful events to offering small business assistance, we’re dedicated to ensuring that businesses can grow and succeed while fostering a positive economic climate.”

The Move Small Business Forward campaign offers a host of exclusive benefits for new members, with a total value of $910. These perks include two e-blasts to over 3,000 recipients, mixer passes, and inclusion in the 2024/2025 Shop Local Guide, which reaches 17,000 potential customers. For most small businesses, membership costs as little as $30 per month. It’s a small investment for big returns, especially when you factor in access to $1,400 worth of advertising opportunities, along with valuable networking connections among the chamber’s nearly 650 members.

By joining, business leaders will gain access to the chamber’s events, offering affordable marketing strategies and opportunities to grow their client base. The chamber advocates for its members by keeping a close watch on legislation affecting businesses and ensuring the voices of local entrepreneurs are heard at both the state and local levels.

Local chambers of commerce have long been small business champions, and the Rancho Mirage Chamber is no exception. As Katie Stice proudly emphasizes, “We exist to be the catalyst for business growth, the convener for leaders and influencers, and the champion for a stronger community.”

If you’re a business or non-profit leader in Rancho Mirage looking to grow, thrive, and connect, now is the perfect time to join the chamber.
