The Legacy of Chef George Ristich

Chef George’s passion for food began at the age of 14 when his father recognized his remarkable talent in the kitchen. By 24, he became the youngest Executive Chef in North America, refining his craft in prestigious venues like Bel-Air Country Club, Scandia, Escoffier Rooms, and Del Rey Yacht Club.

After years of success—including running the legendary George’s Camelot in Newport Beach—he and his wife, Lana, brought their culinary vision to the desert, opening Chef George’s in 2003. Their dream was simple: to create a place where great food, laughter, and live music bring people together. Today, that dream lives on, welcoming all who crave the perfect blend of flavor, tradition, and entertainment.
