Read With Me Riverside County is dedicated to helping children from low-income, limited English-speaking households reach their full potential. Their mission is to ensure every child can read, comprehend, and speak English while knowing they are valued as individuals. Literacy opens doors to opportunity, confidence, and lifelong success, and we are committed to making it accessible to all children in our very own community.
To highlight the importance of literacy, Read With Me is hosting a local screening of Sentenced, a compelling documentary narrated by NBA superstar Stephen Curry. The film shares moving, real-life stories of children and adults who have never learned to read, illustrating the challenges of illiteracy and inspiring communities to take action.
