Renowned artist Michael Weems expressed his excitement: “I’m often asked which Rancho Mirage home would be featured next. The linear roofline and tight integration with the landscape design of the Jorgensen-Mavis Residence by Cody is a stunning addition to my architectural tray collection.”

Nathan Jacroux, Treasurer for Preservation Mirage, reflected on the success of their previous merchandise offering, stating, “We were delighted by the positive response to our inaugural Maranz Residence merchandise. The collectible trays perfectly complement our Modernism Week tours of the Tamarisk neighborhood last year.”

The Jorgensen-Mavis Residence, a masterpiece envisioned by steel magnate Earle Jorgensen, stands as a testament to the architectural brilliance of William F. Cody. Situated in the prestigious Thunderbird Country Club, the residence boasts panoramic golf course and mountains views. Cody’s visionary response resulted in a stylish Desert Modern home featuring deep overhangs that gracefully shade glass walls, creating dramatic outdoor living spaces. Since its acquisition by the Marvis family in 1956, the home has been meticulously maintained, preserving its original design both inside and out.
