This year marks a historic milestone: for the first time, the competition is open to singers nationwide. A record-breaking 148 applicants applied, and ten finalists will compete for over $33,000 in cash scholarships.

Finalists include sopranos Mikayla Sager, Sun Woo Park, Emily Damasco, and Luna Park; mezzo-sopranos Anna Kelly and Ashlyn Brown; countertenor Chuanyuan Liu; tenor Wojin Choi; baritone Hyungjin Son; and bass- baritone Son Jin Kim.

For over four decades, the Palm Springs Opera Guild has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to over 300 singers, many of whom now perform on world-renowned stages in Vienna, Paris, Rome, and New York. Alumni include celebrated artists such as Sondra Radvanovsky, Angela Meade, Charles Castronovo, Lauren Michelle, Angel Blue, and Amber Wagner.
