Kitchen Kitchen

For over 45 years, Kitchen Kitchen has been the heartbeat of culinary creativity in the desert. This beloved, family-owned business came to life in 1979, founded by Charlotte and Phil Carter. Together, they built something extraordinary—Charlotte, with her culinary talents, and Phil, with his eye for products and product placement, created a special place which felt more like a home than a store. Today, their daughter, Jan Boydstun, also known as the Gadget Gal, continues that legacy, offering a treasure trove of gadgets and tools for every kitchen need.

Jan’s passion for cooking and helping others is palpable the moment you step into Kitchen Kitchen. It’s more than a retail space—it’s a place where kitchen dreams come to life. Jan ensures that every gadget on the shelf is tested in their on-site, chef-based kitchen, where guests are invited to small dinner parties and cooking classes. These tools aren’t just products; they are carefully chosen, quality instruments that Jan personally guarantees.

Her love for innovation and teaching shines beyond her store as she demonstrates gadgets off-site, sharing practical tips to make kitchen prep more efficient. Known for her infectious energy, Jan has earned her title as the Gadget Gal, a name that reflects both her expertise and her hands-on approach to cooking. What makes the store even more special is the heart behind it. Kitchen Kitchen is not just about selling—it’s about community. Jan donates 20% of proceeds from product demos to charities, including Juvenile Diabetes, a cause close to her heart.

As Thanksgiving approaches, there’s no better time to visit Kitchen Kitchen.  Whether you’re looking for the perfect tool to make holiday meal prep easier or a thoughtful, wrapped-and-ready gift, Kitchen Kitchen has you covered. Let Jan and her team help bring ease and joy into your holiday cooking, making this season memorable for all the right reasons.
