Meet Alice, Animal Samaritans’ former “longest resident.” Her story is a true testament to the power of love, patience and second chances. Two years ago, she arrived at our shelter
along with several other dogs after being rescued from an animal hoarder. Terrified from her past, Alice wouldn’t let anyone touch her for the entire two years she spent with us.
But then, like a ray of sunshine, Tracey and Pat came into Alice’s life in November 2022. They saw beyond her fears and knew that with time and dedication, they could help her
heal and thrive.
Today, Alice is a shining example of resilience and transformation. She is now a happy, confident pup who adores her new pack and has even found a best friend in
her new canine sibling.
It’s heartwarming to witness the joy and love that radiates from Alice’s new home. She has truly blossomed, thanks to the unwavering love and care she receives from Tracey and
Pat. Their commitment to Alice’s well-being is an inspiration to us all.
Let’s take a moment to celebrate Alice’s incredible journey and the countless other animals who have found their happily ever after. Remember, every adoption is a chance for a new
beginning, and together, we can make a difference in the lives of these deserving animals.
