A Stage for the Community, by the Community
Desert TheatreWorks (DTW) begins a brand-new 15th season this October, once again inviting the community to laugh, cry, and be inspired together. As one of the Valley’s most beloved nonprofit theatre companies, DTW has never strayed from its mission: to enrich lives through education, entertainment, and exposure to the arts.
What sets DTW apart is the community. Every production is fueled by the passion of local performers, musicians, designers, stage crew, and volunteers, who are all proud to call the Greater Coachella Valley home. Their creativity transforms each show into more than just theatre, it becomes a shared cultural celebration of local talent.
But bringing these stories to life takes more than talent alone. As a nonprofit, DTW relies on the generosity of patrons, donors, and volunteers to keep the curtain rising. Donations directly support costumes, sets, youth programs, and the ability to keep theatre accessible to all. Whether you give through a one-time contribution, ongoing support, or by buying tickets, your gift ensures that the arts continue to thrive right here in the Valley!
