Dear Readers, Sun City Insider- December 2025

We are living through a remarkable chapter in human history. Nearly six centuries ago, in the mid-1400s, the invention of the Gutenberg printing press transformed civilization. For the first time, information could be widely shared, communities expanded, and ideas reshaped the world. Today, we are experiencing a new communication revolution just as profound. Devices and digital platforms are redefining how information is transmitted, how we interact, and even how communities stay connected.

The printed page is not disappearing entirely but we can acknowledge that the world is changing rapidly around us. In that reality, I want to pause and appreciate something meaningful: the fact that you are here, reading these printed words, we are connected through this magazine. Sun City Insider exists because of our readers and because of the local advertisers who believe that community still matters, that local stories deserve to be shared, and that the printed page keeps us connected. We are together in a historical moment: one foot in the enduring past and one in the future of this reality.

On that note, this month we are proud to spotlight Sun City residents who are part of the International Classical Concerts of the Desert. Much like the magazine industry, the world of live performance has also been pulled into virtual spaces. Yet ICCD holds strong to its mission: to bring people together, face to face, to experience the power, presence, and emotion of live music locally. I hope you enjoy their inspiring story on pages 26 and 28.

Wishing you a warm, joyful, peaceful holiday season and a New Year! If you would like to connect with me directly email me at: [email protected]

Regards and Happy Reading!
