With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Ray Smythe, a cherished member of the Sun City community and a fellow advertiser. For nearly 25 years, Ray wrote uplifting columns and dedicated his life to providing comfort through his books such as Coping with Grief. Ray was a history teacher for 39 years, and he was honored multiple times as Teacher of the Year, leaving a lasting impact on countless students.
