The Continuity Club is a new, specialized section of our assisted living community for residents with higher care needs than would be provided in a traditional assisted living setting so they can age in place and don’t have to move. The Continuity Club is an extension of our continuing care model which offers residents assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing all on one campus.
Many assisted living communities are limited in the level of care that can be provided within a resident’s apartment. Typically, this is due to a low caregiver-to-resident ratio, as staffing levels simply aren’t adequate to provide the specialized care many residents need as they age.
At Bayshire Rancho Mirage, we tackle this issue head-on. As part of our commitment to helping our residents age with dignity, the Continuity Club offers a much higher caregiver-to-resident ratio than traditional assisted living.
The Continuity Club offers continued support for a variety of specialized care needs, including residents who are bed bound or in need of ostomy care, feeding assistance, catheter care, nebulizer treatments, transfer/lifting, and frequent turning or repositioning, all in a semi-private studio. While these services would typically only be administered in an expensive, private-pay skilled nursing setting, at the Continuity Club they are provided (along with our first-class assisted living services) for one all-inclusive rate.
