Did you know that every 60 seconds someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia? Or that Alzheimer’s disease is the third leading cause of death in the state of California? The Alzheimer’s Association has been serving desert families for nearly 24 years with programs and services, outreach and education as well as care and support.
In 2021, we held our first “A Night to Remember” television show to replace our planned in-person gala event, and it was a resounding success for our community partners and was an important fundraiser for serving our mission here in the desert. This year, through the generosity of our wonderful partners at KESQ/CBSLocal2, we will once again be producing this inspiring program, “A Night to Remember 2”, which will air on CBSLocal2 on Saturday, April 16th at 7:00pm. Patrick Evans, meteorologist and local entertainment personality, will once again be hosting and leading us through a dynamic hour of music, memories and mission as we learn about the important work of the Association and the inspiring stories of the local families that we serve.
How can YOU be part of this incredible event? Visit our event website at www.antr2.givesmart.com and learn how you and your company or family can sponsor this event, with benefits that can include commercial time during the 60 minute broadcast, special party boxes delivered for your “viewing party” at your home or office, and many other amenities and gifts to make your participation in the show memorable. There will also be an amazing Silent Auction, which will be previewed in late March, with bidding opening online on April 6th. It will include golf and hotel packages, chef’s dinners, restaurant groupings, spa services and many fun and exciting experiences. Remember to tune in for “A Night to Remember 2” and thank you for your support!
