Her daughters, Laura and Monica Lupe, were raised in this world of flavors and family, immersed in the rhythm of the kitchen from an early age. They grew up watching their mother experiment with ingredients, refining recipes that would become legendary— like her famous Chiles Gueritos, a cherished Mexicali dish, and the restaurant’s signature ribs, each plate served with a touch of Carmen’s magic.
In 2007, the family expanded Carmen’s legacy, opening a second location dedicated to the woman whose name became synonymous with exceptional food and heartfelt hospitality.
