Welcome to opening night of the Conley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show – an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines).
Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Tony Award-winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!
This performance is on April 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 at 7:30pm. This performance plays at 2pm on April 16,23 and 30. DTW in partnership with C4 Communication will have ASL Interpreters for our deaf and hard of hearing patrons at
the Saturday, April 29th performance.
The magic of live theatre is more than just amazing performances. There is a lot of behind-the- ‘G scenes business involved – from sets and costumes to props and wigs. Ticket sales alone cannot cover the expense of putting on our high-quality shows. It is only possible through the support of our generous donors.
DTW also helps fund our KidsWorks Summer Musical Theatre Camp. At camp, Coachella Valley youth learn performance and technical theatre skills that can translate into self-confidence, a love of the arts, and a desire to get more involved in bringing culture to the area. One way that you can support Desert TheatreWorks and our mission is to become a Season Sponsor.
Your contribution will allow us to keep producing these theatre gems for your enjoyment. If you have more time than money, we’re always looking for volunteers to help in a variety of ways! Volunteers are a much-loved part of the DTW Family, for we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without them!
