For decades Animal Samaritans has improved the lives of animals and people in the Coachella Valley. A non-profit founded by a group of friends, over the past 44 years Animal Samaritans has bettered the lives of animals and the people who love them because of the generous support of people like you.
Their biggest and most exciting fundraising event of the year is the “Men of the Desert Fashion Show and Luncheon,” presented this year by the Carl Jud Foundation. Now in its 13th year, over 400 guests annually watch as our handsome male models strut down the runway with man’s best friend!
Guests enjoy a champagne reception and live music while mingling with other animal-lovers and bidding on silent auction items at the Palm Springs Air Museum before moving into the dining area to enjoy a delicious lunch. While dining, guests are entertained as our stylish models work the runway, each with a tail-wagging canine by their side!
All proceeds raised benefit Animal Samaritans’ Animal Rescue Program. To date, over 10,000 homeless animals have been adopted from our shelter into loving homes. Additionally, we’ve rescued over 14,000 at risk animals from other area shelters and have spayed and neutered over 200,000 dogs and cats.
