Rancho Mirage Insider, Letter from the Editor, April, 2022

De Readers,

This month we are pleased to offer a great variety of content to keep you in the loop about what is happening in Rancho Mirage and the Valley.

The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce have scheduled their “Back to Business Expo” for mid-November. This event will promote local businesses; read more about their ongoing efforts toward economic recovery on page 18, and book early if you are interested in participating. We continue to shine a spotlight on our fellow neighbors and local business owners, all of whom are passionate about their endeavors. Delany’s shop owner William Delany shares his incredible journey of 54 years in the antiques business on page 16. Another local resident, Philippe Morlot, will soon celebrate the one year anniversary of his newest coffee shop RM Coffee; check page 32 to read more about the detail he puts into every aspect of his shop. Be sure to stop by and enjoy these local businesses!

Cover to cover, our magazine is jam-packed with more great reads and tips including doctor’s advice on pages 10, 33, and 35, preparing pets in case of disaster on page 29, preparing your tax return on page 27, and life-changing insights on pages 12 and 22.

Last, but not least, we are featuring Vivien and Michael McGuire, who both made drastic mid-life career changes into law. While Vivien now enjoys an exciting retirement, Michael remains enthusiastic about providing solutions in Elder Law, a passion that originated from a chance inquiry in 1997. Learn about their journey starting on page 24.

Regards, and thanks for reading!
