The Alzheimer’s Association has been serving the Coachella Valley for over 24 years with care and support programming for our local desert residents. We offer education, information and referral, support groups, counseling and social engagement programs like Art Expressions and MusicALZ for caregivers and their loved ones. Families truly find a supportive community at the Alzheimer’s Association office in Palm Desert.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s, our signature fundraising event, is one of the main ways that we keep all of our programs and services completely free of charge to our community. On Saturday, October 29th we will once again be stepping off at Palm Desert Civic Center Park for a morning event filled with inspiration, celebration, food, music, fun and community. Participants can register at act.alz.org/cv for free and fundraise to win wonderful prizes and experiences, like our catered breakfast on Walk morning for Champion fundraisers.
