Lithium batteries require no maintenance, so basically all you need to do is charge the battery pack and turn it off. All lithium battery packs have a pushbutton on/off switch, very much like a computer.
So, here is the proper order to store properly:
- Charge battery pack to 100%.
- Turn tow/run switch off. Note: all newer carts have this, although most older carts do not have the switch.
- Push and hold button until you hear the beep, or until the small green light turns off.
- Upon your return, simply plug in the a/c cord and four to six hours later your batteries will be fully charged and ready to use!
