Hydes AC & Electrical is celebrating 50 years of family service. Started by Brian Hyde in 1972, this third-generation, family-owned company values hard work, trustworthiness, reliability and giving back to the community.
Although Hydes has been installing and servicing air conditioning systems since 1980, Brian Hyde started the company as an appliance repair business in Orange County in 1972. Since many of his customers also had second homes in the Palm Desert area, he established a second Hydes branch here in the Coachella Valley. Due to the strong demand for air conditioning in the desert, Brian moved the entire business in 1982. The business’s primary focus became installing air conditioning and heating systems.
Hydes is proud to continue Brian’s legacy. Brian’s sons Barry, Michael and Mark are now owners, and Brian’s grandchildren all work at Hydes. Hydes has managed to grow year after year for one simple reason, a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
