With Covid still out there, having a healthy immune system is especially important. Covid attacks the vulnerable and usually spares the healthy. The body is designed to have a robust immune system if we treat it right. Important supplements for the immune system are Vitamin D3 2000 units daily, Zinc 15-25 mg daily and Vitamin C 500 mg twice a day. Turmeric, the spice in curry, is very helpful. The usual dose is 500 mg daily. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin and that can be taken separately, again 500 mg daily.

Both immunization and getting a natural infection boost the immune system. This is not either/or but get both! Being vaccinated protects you from serious illness, but not from getting the virus. A healthy and vaccinated person may be infected with the virus and never know it; this is what is called an asymptomatic infection. If there are symptoms these may be as mild as having a cold.
