Desert United Luncheons

The Desert United Luncheons started in 2007 when founder Mario Hernandez noticed how the housing market crash and economic downturn negatively impacted local businesses and entrepreneurs. He set out to be a part of the recovery efforts to help keep good people working.

Mario and his team decided to gather his resources to help fellow businessmen and women by creating the Desert United Luncheons to provide local business owners and professionals with a place to network and build business relationships and friendships. In 2022 Mario and his team celebrate their 15th year hosting these monthly luncheons.

We bring together professionals, retailers, hospitality businesses, contractors, service providers, non-profits and college students with one important goal: to build our resources through good relationships while getting to know each other better.
Every individual at a luncheon table has three minutes to share their business story with their tablemates. Each month’s luncheon highlights a different non-profit as its guest speaker with the intention of raising awareness about the non-profit’s good works. The speaker is offered the opportunity to share what is needed for the non-profit to succeed in its mission.

Mario Hernandez continues to find ways to support our local community with the current needs of the ongoing pandemic. For further information, or if you would like to join us, visit DesertUnited.com.
